am the owner of Eagle Point
Travel, LLC, dba A Touch of Home…anywhere, and
Destinations. I am a
certified travel consultant and have traveled extensively throughout my
life. I have been able to reside in more than seven states of the United
States, plus Hawaii
and the Far East as the wife of a former career
Marine. I gained a lot of cultural knowledge and met many friends from
these travels.
I have been a travel consultant wizardress for 10 years and
this business never ceases to amaze me. The ports change, resorts change
hands (sometimes faster than we can keep track of them) but always seem to be
better than before. Hurricanes hit, people chip in and help rebuild,
Fires blaze (Greece)
and industry wise, people help in one way or another to assist those to come
back and rebuild their lives and futures. (For Greece
and the people of Athens, we are
donating $50 per booking (of any kind) to their relief funds to
assist the farmers of olive gardens and communities to arise from the Ashes of

Since
that time I also found that Travel for fun and adventure would include
places such as Canada, Mexico, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Austria, Czech Republic,
England, Barbados, Maui and Oahu-Islands of Hawaii.
Being a college business graduate, with an early major (high school then
college) in Languages and Humanities, became (later in life) more than nine
years of working travelers and I used my knowledge of the world and local
environs to enrich my “work place”. Friends and relatives worldwide can, and
do, give me any assistance on a daily basis for that "special vacation
rental hideaway" or “special Honeymoon Romantic” place. I have found
that Honeymoons and Destination Weddings in Europe,
the Caribbean, Hawaii
and Mexico have
kept the office busy for the last 3 years as well. – We also have had lots of
Honeymoon Travel experience as we are currently Southern Oregon/Northern
California preferred travel agency representative for the area David’s Bridal
shops, a nation wide franchise for brides, grooms, and their respective wedding
party apparel.
I am a widow and grandmother of 4 (now a great-grandmother of 2, too!! Also too
soon!) who enjoys travel, and putting clients and friends first. By email and
phone, the office can be reached practically 24 hours a day. Dealing directly
with vendors in Europe, Australia,
the Far East and in the United
States as well, my staff or I can usually
get answers to your travel questions within 24-48 hours. We cannot
emphasize enough the importance of making good, yet very timely decisions for
vacation rentals worldwide, & honeymoon vacations (or Destination Weddings)
should be contemplated well in advance, as early as 8
or more months is good planning. As well, the earlier people
book vacation rentals or resort or cruise vacations, whether for
family reunions, wedding parties, groups or singles, then you often can and do
save money and much aggravation.
I
am also a horse person and have sources for equestrian trips in Spain,
Austria, Mexico
(riding on the sand during your Honeymoon Escape!) and other parts of the USA,
i.e., Colorado, Montana,
etc. You can ride or fly fish (or.... even read a book).
My
daughter, Vivian and granddaughter (model in progress) Samantha, help out with

office has been designated as the Exclusive West Coast assistant for Bella
Vista Vacation Rentals who deal in upscale luxury properties in France,
Italy, Spain,
Greece - all
excellent places for singles, couples, families - including those thinking
about medium to large reunions and great places for honeymoons.
For
exclusive Paris rentals we can
offer another select private company who only deals with select agencies, of
which we are one, and have had fabulous results with them. They are all well
sought after for return clients year after year. None of their properties are
available direct to the public but rather through select agencies.
As
well, we are one of the exclusive (and online booking is available with them on
the site) USA
vendors of the Italy and
France Cuendet program, an Italian company specializing in budget to luxury
accommodations. Cuendet merged with Posarelli last year and now have many more
exclusive properties available year round.
We
work with several companies,
(Interhome for one - also for France, Italy & Beyond) who specialize and
have properties in Great Britain
- all over, Greater London, Cotswalds, Wales,
Scotland and Ireland.
England is a
popular place to visit and one can venture out from a good base to see London,
Scotland and Ireland
while vacationing. Train travel is very popular both in England
and also in Europe - it is a great way to see more of
the country than flying about at 60,000 feet, and travel to mainland Europe
by train is quite the adventure!
There
are other exclusive vendors - one European based company with properties in Portugal,
Spain, France,
Italy
and Greece. The
other deals only in Upscale Luxury properties in France
and Italy. We
have extended vacation
rentals to Asia, which is the upcoming spot for travelers and deal
exclusively with Domizile who have properties in Asia (Bali,
China, Seychelles)
as well as Central and Western Europe. They also have
exclusive properties in the Caribbean, Hawaii
and Mexico.
Not
to be let out - the Caribbean has always been a favorite
and to that end we cater/vendor with Caribbean Escapes
who handles upscale/luxury properties through the Caribbean
and who also have properties in Europe as well.
In
the last three years, we have extended our base to Asia
as well – we have apartments, condos, resorts and villas available in Bali,
Shanghai, China
and the Seychelles
as well. Many of these also cater to the business world traveler as their
“second” home.
We
are one of three USA
(two on mainland one on Hawaii)
companies who work exclusively with travel to Bhutan through Yak
Adventure Travel – which covers trekking, meals & more in one
price.
Being
certified means having extended knowledge, as well as personal and business
travel to these countries (Europe, Asia
(including Japan,
China & Hong Kong), the Caribbean, Mexico
and Hawaii) helps tremendously
when assisting people choose their vacation properties or Honeymoon Destination
Escapes. All of the Vendors are people I have been dealing with for up to 10
years and are highly respected companies in their own right. Most of the
companies we work with are headquartered in the countries they specialize in.
They all have people who also travel to their properties for yearly inspections
and keep up with the rentals. While it is impossible for all of us to go to
every property we represent, you can be assured that someone, if not me
personally, then someone from one of their offices, has been to the villa,
cottage, chalet or castle you desire to live in for a week or more.
I

years and am always adding to my destination specific knowledge, by education
